• General points
  • Please do NOT attend class if you or your child(ren) are displaying any Covid 19 symptoms.
  • In a change from our initial rules, facemasks are now compulsory for all adults (other than the government guidelines exemptions) throughout our classes.
  • Please use hand sanitiser for both you and your child when entering the building
  • We will use a temperature gun to test people’s temperatures upon arrival. If you or your child are in the red zone (38 degrees +) then we’re so sorry, but you will not be able to attend class that morning
  • Buggies can be left in the usual places (more info will be provided about venue specifics once your booking has been made) but please try and maintain social distancing as best as possible
  • There will be toilets in use at all venues, but please take used nappies home with you to dispose of
  • 1 adult, 1 child only (unless you’ve booked places for 2+ children) – sorry no extra people allowed at the moment
  • You might require warm clothes as all windows will be open during class!
  • Please only arrive at the hall up to 5 mins before your class starts, and depart as swiftly as possible – there should be minimal cross-over of people between classes

  • In Class
  • Social Distancing should be maintained for adults at all times but is not applicable for children (as per current EYFS Covid guidelines ie “early years and primary age children cannot be expected to remain 2 metres apart from each other and staff”)
  • Teachers will sing – but not very loudly! You are encouraged to hum or sing quietly along with the songs but at a volume that is no louder than your speaking voice
  • Classes will be 40 mins max (to allow for change over times and cleaning between classes)
  • Touching the orchestral instruments or the piano sadly won’t be permitted at this time
  • Any woodwind / brass instruments will have moistureguards on their bells to aide with catching water droplets
  • Separate shakers, scrunchies and parachutes will be used for each class. You are very welcome to bring and use your own shakers if you wish
  • Please bring your own cushion/mat to sit on if required
  • Bring your own scarf to use whilst holding scrunchie and/or parachute if you wish
  • Use hand sanitiser for yourselves and your little ones as/when you choose throughout class
  • There will be a Bubble gun (not blowing) in use by the teacher
  • If the situation arises, teachers will encourage elbow bumps rather than hugs between the teacher and a child
