Can’t get to our in-person classes? We got you! Our ‘Online Only Membership’ is just the ticket.  For just £5 per month (auto-renewing until you cancel) you’ll enjoy access to our library of 20+ Pre-recorded On Demand classes available 24/7 and our live on-line interactive classes broadcast during the school holidays.

Mini Mozart’s online classes will introduce your little one to the piano, violin, french horn, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and cello (among others) with a mix of nursery rhymes and Classical Music.

The classes can bring structure and learning to days spent at home, so if the weather’s horrid and you don’t make it out of the house or your child isn’t feeling so well, you know you’ve done something positive to help your little one’s development.

Each of the 20+ On-Demand classes is based on a different fairy tale, fable, or inspirational role and we use interactive games to teach the little ones about pitch, rhythm and repertoire. You can enjoy the class without them, but if you have a shaker (rice in a jar will do), a lightweight scarf, a favourite cuddly toy and some bubbles knocking around, it’ll help you get the most out of the sessions

The Salvation Army value music highly within their Church so you’re always going to find superb pianos at their venues – and Harpenden is no different! Located in the main hall at the back of the building, you can access our classes either via the front door on Leyton Green or the back door on Amenbury Lane. The Hall is situated right in the heart of Harpenden and there’s a wealth of choice for a pre or post class coffee or lunch.

Our Classes Help Develop

What happens in class?

Our resident pianist and orchestral musicians will educate and enchant you with a carefully curated mix of Classical Music, nursery favourites, props and games. You’ll leave having had a great time, having met some other parents & carers with babies the same age as yours, and knowing you’ve done something wonderful to stimulate your little one’s development.

How do I get there?

The venue is a 10 mins walk from Harpenden train station, and there are a number of buses that serve the local area. There’s also a pay carpark at Amenbury Lane car park (no parking available on site).

Anything else that I need to know?

Buggies need to be left outside. You can either leave outside the front (where the resident toddler group staff can keep an eye on them) or outside the back door where you will be able to see them. There’s a toddler cafe that runs at the front of the building at the same time our classes are on, so you can make a morning of it by attending there before or after your Mini Mozart class.
