What happens in each 45 minute class?

Our resident pianist and ever changing cast of orchestral musicians will educate and enchant you both ‘circle style’ with a carefully curated mix of Classical Music, nursery favourites, props and games.You’ll leave having had a great time, having met some other parents & carers with babies the same age as yours, and knowing you’ve done something wonderful to stimulate your little one’s development.

Question 4

Babies, Toddlers or Babies & Toddlers Class?

As a guide, the cusp between the Babies & Toddlers class starts about 15 months. The toddlers class is for confident walkers, but we leave it to you who knows your child best to choose which class will suit them best. The Babies & Toddlers Together classes are suitable for all children aged 0-4 years (not just siblings).  The teacher adapts the class pending the age of the children attending, so everyone can join in the musical fun!

Can I bring my Toddler to a Babies class?

We want to make sure that the class is enjoyable for all and that babies are given a chance to engage with and enjoy all the props and meet our musician without getting trodden on by enthusiastic toddlers. With this in mind, it is not possible to bring a toddler into a Babies only class.

Can I bring my baby to a Toddlers class?

Our toddler classes are aimed at children from around 16 months through to aged 4 who are steady on their feet. If you have a baby under 6 months and are looking to bring your older child too we will consider this on a venue by venue basis provided the little one stays in your arms. As soon as they are sitting unaided it might be more appropriate to switch to a mixed class if one is available.

How is the mixed Babies & Toddlers class different?

The mixed Babies & Toddlers class is a very similar format to a Toddlers or Babies class on its own. Teachers make sure good use is made of props and all children are accommodated. The baby-friendly elements are used; especially for the littlest ones, and we adapt our activities so that both babies and toddlers can participate. Teachers circulate the room carefully so that every child gets a good view of the instruments and musician if they choose to sit back from the group.

How many children are in each class?

This depends on the size of the venue and room. Classes are mixed ages, but generally, we keep classes at around 16 children maximum.

Can I bring more than one adult?

Generally, we allow one adult per child. If Grandma or another relative would like to come along too, please email us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you if possible within the space.

Why is it more expensive than some other baby & toddler classes?

Each class has a pianist and orchestral lead musician playing live for the whole duration of the session, plus occasional guest musicians. The cost reflects the high standard of our musicians and teachers. By selecting a membership, the price you pay for each term is locked in and will not increase whilst you are subscribed.

The class is showing full, how do I get on the waiting list?

If a class has reached capacity, you should see the option for a waiting list on the booking page. Please click on this and you will be added to the waitlist and automatically informed when a place becomes available.

How does the membership system work?

Accepted Answer

The membership is a recurring monthly service. Your subscription will renew automatically on the same date each month. This spreads the cost of your classes evenly across the year, avoids a large upfront cost at the start of every school term, and makes it easy to manage your attendance in your online account. You can join or cancel at any time. Links to your account are included in your booking confirmation and renewal emails.

Why should I subscribe?

Subscribing guarantees your space in class every week at your usual time and venue. It is cheaper than paying for individual sessions, provides access to make-up classes, allows you to gift your missed session to a friend, and ensures regular repetition which is incredibly beneficial for musical, cognitive and social development in early childhood.

Can I do a make-up class if I go on holiday or my child is ill?

Yes. Please notify us in advance by email when you know you can't attend and let us know the date and which venue you would prefer for your make-up class. You are welcome to do your make-up classes at any of our venues. Alternatively, you can give your place to a friend for the week. Make-up classes must be taken within the same term.

Is there a sibling or twins discount?

Yes, we offer a 50% discount for siblings and twins. Please email us and we will provide you with a discount code to use when booking.

Do you have a bursary scheme?

We offer an 80% discount for families on Universal Credit or similar support. If you are experiencing financial difficulty or have any questions about eligibility, please contact us by email or phone and our team will be happy to help.

Can I book my subscription in advance?

Yes, you can reserve your subscription in advance – usually up to 4 weeks before the start of the term – depending on capacity and availability.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time using the Cancel button in your My Account page. You are responsible for managing your own membership. Links to your account are included in every payment receipt and renewal notice.

If I cancel halfway through my membership month, will you refund the remainder?

We do not offer partial refunds for unused time. You will continue to have access to all membership benefits until the end of your paid billing period.

Will I get a refund for months when there aren’t as many classes, such as school holidays?

No. Our monthly fees are calculated by averaging the cost of classes across the full school year including holiday sessions and special events. If you prefer not to attend during holidays, please cancel your membership before your renewal date.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are only offered if we cancel a class. The membership model provides flexibility and requires only a one-month commitment. Reminder emails are sent before each renewal to give you time to make changes to your plan if needed.

What are the Term Dates for 2025/26?

In-person classes run during school term time only. There are no classes on bank holidays. Full and up-to-date term dates are always available on the Term Dates page and may vary slightly between venues.

My little one is feeling unwell, can I still come to class?

If your child is unwell, please keep them at home so they can rest and to help avoid spreading germs. Please let us know in advance and we will help arrange a make-up class for you.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

You do not need to bring anything special, but many parents find it helpful to bring a small blanket for their little one to sit on.

Can I use my phone in class?

We encourage full participation in class so please use your phone minimally. Feel free to take photos of your own child but please be mindful not to include other children without their parents’ permission.

Can my children eat in class?

No. To keep the space clean and safe for all children, including those with allergies, eating is not permitted during class.

What is your photo / video policy?

From time to time, we take photographs in class for parents to purchase and for marketing purposes, following NSPCC safeguarding guidelines. We do not publish identifiable information and you may opt out of photos simply by choosing not to participate or by informing us by email. If you are taking your own photos, please check with other parents before capturing other children in your images.

Monthly subscriptions auto-renew on the same date each month so that the fees are spread out evenly across the year. You can join and cancel anytime.
