Can’t get to our in-person classes? We got you! Our ‘Online Only Membership’ is just the ticket. For just £5 per month (auto-renewing until you cancel) you’ll enjoy access to our library of 20+ Pre-recorded On Demand classes available 24/7 and our live on-line interactive classes broadcast during the school holidays.
Mini Mozart’s online classes will introduce your little one to the piano, violin, french horn, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and cello (among others) with a mix of nursery rhymes and Classical Music.
The classes can bring structure and learning to days spent at home, so if the weather’s horrid and you don’t make it out of the house or your child isn’t feeling so well, you know you’ve done something positive to help your little one’s development.
Each of the 20+ On-Demand classes is based on a different fairy tale, fable, or inspirational role and we use interactive games to teach the little ones about pitch, rhythm and repertoire. You can enjoy the class without them, but if you have a shaker (rice in a jar will do), a lightweight scarf, a favourite cuddly toy and some bubbles knocking around, it’ll help you get the most out of the sessions
Benslow Music Trust is sometimes said to be Hitchin’s best kept musical secret… The venue hosts residental music courses for adults but on the Monday mornings, the stunning venue is all ours! Our classes take place in The Peter Morrison hall, a purpose built recital room within the complex which boasts a Steinway piano, which of course, our pianists adore playing! The space is large providing ample space for little ones to really get to grips with their steady beat learning as they march around the room, and the Trust kindly allow our Mini Mozarts and their adults to explore the magnificent gardens and grounds before or after classes.
Our resident pianist and orchestral musicians will educate and enchant you with a carefully curated mix of Classical Music, nursery favourites, props and games. You’ll leave having had a great time, having met some other parents & carers with babies the same age as yours, and knowing you’ve done something wonderful to stimulate your little one’s development.
Hitchin train station is a 10 mins walk and there are buses that stop nearby.
If you do explore the gardens, please keep a close eye on your little one as there are a couple of ponds in the grounds. Please also take all nappies away with you and leave your buggies in the foyer at the Peter Morrison Hall.
