Hitchin (Mondays), Benslow Music Trust, Benslow Lane, Hitchin, SG4 9RB SG4 9RB (see on Google Maps)

Benslow Music Trust is sometimes said to be Hitchin’s best kept musical secret… The venue hosts residential music courses for adults but on the Monday mornings, the stunning venue is all ours! Our classes take place in The Peter Morrison hall, a purpose built recital room within the complex which boasts a Steinway piano, which of course, our pianists adore playing! The space is large providing ample space for little ones to really get to grips with their steady beat learning as they march around the room, and the Trust kindly allow our Mini Mozarts and their adults to explore the magnificent gardens and grounds before or after classes.

What happens in class?

Our resident pianist and orchestral musicians will educate and enchant you with a carefully curated mix of Classical Music, nursery favourites, props and games. You’ll leave having had a great time, having met some other parents & carers with babies the same age as yours, and knowing you’ve done something wonderful to stimulate your little one’s development.

How do I get there?

Hitchin train station is a 10 mins walk and there are buses that stop nearby.

Anything else that I need to know?

If you do explore the gardens, please keep a close eye on your little one as there are a couple of ponds in the grounds. Please also take all nappies away with you and leave your buggies in the foyer at the Peter Morrison Hall.
